My name is Walter Henkel and my book, Beating Opiate Addiction - A Patient's Perspective, has been written to lift you, or your loved one, from the vice-like and deadly grip of opiate addiction.
Make no mistake about it, addiction to opiates is deadly. Very few who are seriously addicted go on to live long, happy, and productive lives. The odds are very high against it, for a number of reasons, which I go into in some depth in my book. The problem is quitting.
Now anyone who has been a smoker knows how very difficult it is to quit cigarettes. I frequently hear from people who say they will quit smoking sometime soon, or who may do so for a short while, and then start in again. The reality is that, very few truly quit cigarettes for good. Well, by analogy or comparison, quitting opiate addiction is at least an order of magnitude more difficult. That means, it is not slightly harder, but more like ten times harder to quit opiates. It also means that, without serious help, an opiate addict will only very rarely be able to give up the habit by themselves. The point of my book is to encourage someone, if they are an addict, with the understanding that real help exists, and that, there are treatment methodologies that can take the addict from a place where they may have thought it would be totally impossible to extract oneself from the addiction, and to get to a life where one is no longer controlled by unbearable cravings and need, a life where one will rejoice daily in the new found sense of freedom from the constant craving and constipation, under a cruel slave master.
So please, order a copy of my book today, and don’t just read it, but study it earnestly, as if your life depended on it. Because it does! So take the first step and you will succeed if you truly dedicate yourself.
